Writing and Performing

Our current unit in literacy is 'Plays'. We have begun by looking at a familiar story (Little Red Riding Hood) and turned it into a playscript. We then used our scripts to create short performances. We found the stage directions really helpful, as they told us what to do when we were saying our lines, and what kind of voice to use.

Creating Ancient Egyptian Artefacts!

Today we had an artist in to work with us. He taught us how to work with clay and how to model it into different thigs. We made our very own Egyptian cats and a sarcophagus.
